some kids want to learn others don't.
such is life the clever kids often do well regardless of school but it can mean extra work for the parent but what parent wouldn't want to help out?
Would you really pay private education for primary school? It is just supervised playtime.
I have to disagree there , the primary years are when they do most of there leaning - reading , writing, spellings etc, well it has been for my two kids !!
X), seriuosly though

Sure. but I think the parents can intervene quite easily at that point no matter what the school. Life gets tough at secondary.
You know what my 7 yr old son gets more homework and things to do / bring in than my 12 yr old Daughter who started high school last September !!
:)
Seriously... you had choices (plural) of Primary School?
What a posh area!
Surely it would be home schoolling?
Regardless.. Satisfactory, Good, Outstanding... i see it time and time again, if the parents put in the effort into creating a learning ethos outside of school your kids will go far.
Some of my top students currently came out of schools that were satisfactory and had dipped into special measures.
