How would you read this post regarding a pricing error????

To me it sounds like they will honour the pricing error when stock comes in...

"EPSON AIO PRINTER DUPLEX WIFI 687-5741
A ‘too good to be true’ deal from Caboodle?
As you spotted, we posted a very attractive deal on this Epson printer. And as some folks suspected – it was a lot more attractive than even our very best value deals.
Whilst we endeavour to offer our customers the best possible pricing at Caboodle, this particular deal was subject to a pricing error. Due to this pricing error all orders were cancelled. Unfortunately, some credit cards had been charged before the order cancellation. (All credit card has already been credited by the same amount).
This error doesn’t meet the standards of great customer service that we aim for, and we’re sorry about that. We will provide the printers as ordered as soon as more stock becomes available to meet this spike in demand.
Emails will be sent to the customers involved.
Again, we apologise, and will be taking extra steps to ensure that future deals on Caboodle are still great value, but without the surprises.

I notice you never posted it as a deal did you? X)

Re the reply, I can't make my mind up I can read it two ways. If they were honouring it why did they repay the cards?

Usually people would read something like that with their eyes.

No, not me. I ordered one though, and just got the same message in my email inbox.

It's a weird response IMO

"We will provide the printers as ordered"

Seems obvious what will happen to me.

For the price they were ordered for?

Well it says "as ordered" so would imagine so. Would either wait for the email from them as mentioned or contact them to ask.

I hope so...although I will wait for the email that says they will 'be unable to source any more stock'!!!!

Looks like a hastily mocked together reply and the sentence 'All credit card has already been credited by the same amount' should read have not has.
I read it as sorry but your not getting the product at the mis-priced price, you have been refunded if payment was already taken and you can buy the product but at the correct price.

Just got an email. They have refunded the money and are sending out the printer free of charge. Not a bad result. :)
