My wife would have gone crazy if I got saucepans for her present :?
How did you react?!
I'd have tested their strength by hitting him hard with each pan!!!

Or failing that, I'd have cut off part of his anatomy, fried it in one of my new pans, and then fed it to the dog :-D

What was your reaction?
I think that you should have thanked him for his present as its the thought that counts.

oh i think thats one he will have to make up for, for a long time;-):whistling::w00t:

you can only be the winner there;-)
I would have thanked him and then offered to cook him something nice to christen the pans. Naturally I would have added some extra ingredients into his meal.
saucepans ... or a cheap drum kit
where they nice pans? some are expensive, i hate getting stuff like that but my mum bought me a set bout 8 years ago, i wasnt impressed but they are lovely to cook with even now, can tell the diff when using a cheapo
How many men get tools they don't want or need?
I think I'd go with the get me something nice in the sales though.
We're that skint we only bought the kids and all I got was a toblerone, not complaining though, the kids are happy and so am I.

:-D perfect picture thats about the right feeling, dont think he has said 2 words since opening his pressies on xmas day just permanently got headphones in. probably safer for him that way though
I really wanted a new ironing board ...and a hoover for my xmas......

was a bit disappointed I didnt get them tbh.....

saucepans would be ok if they were nice ones....

Your training has been a success.

I bought my missus a wii fit. (She needs to lose a few pounds!) She gets the new car once she has.

One of my ex's, I bought a socket set for her birthday. She wasn't happy. Couldn't understand what the fuss was as her car was always breaking down
Well.....considering that I received the most hideous hat ever created from my Mum for xmas(a hat that only a male Russian pensioner holed up in a gulag would want to wear!)....a set of pans sounds just great!!
My wife used to complain that she had too much housework to do so I suggested that I should get someone who can help her...The next 24 hours were a blur
Nice pressy, what you cooking tonight? Something tasty I hope, do you need some long winded recipes to make good use of your new pans whilst he plays the ipod?
Woman are just never happy are they. :w00t:

We dont treat them - they complain. We treat them - they Still complain. :p
my husband bought me 64 liqueur chocolates - i dont drink - i reminded him of this (we have been together 29yrs) and he said he bought them cos he knows i dont drink but that he thought i would enjoy biting the tops off (they are chocolate) - go urggghhh - then give the rest to him to drink/eat - and for that reason he thought it was a good present for me !
I bought my wife one of those veggy streamer things, a nice brushed looking one... She loved it

I always did buy her a shitload of other stuff :P... Planet Earth DVD Boxset, Pendulum CD, promised meal out to her favourite resturant with a trip to watch Avater aswell (She wanted to watch it).. £150 gift card thingy at her favourite clothes shop. Oh and a Nokia 5800, but that doesnt come till tomorrow.. Little late than i hoped. And a box of ferrero rocher, as always :).

I got Forza 3 for my xbox 360........... and that was it.. Which was my fault tbh, as i wouldnt let her buy me anything.. I'm hard to buy for and whenever i want anything i just buy it. Plus our son came along this year, she deserved the treats.
