After many recommendations I decided to get Sony Vegas Pro 10 but it can't do a simple thing - write in Arabic which I need for some of my work.

I used an online keyboard to type, pasted it into Sony Vegas Pro, pasted it into text for another try, then to Sony Vegas Pro, but it displays the letters back to front so not displayng correctly. It seems it doesn't support it although I read Sony Vegas 8 supports uncode.

If anyone knows how to get around this, please advise. Otherwise I will have to get another programme (any recommendations?).

Sorry I can't help, but I'm after SVP myself. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay & where from?

I chose it as my present. :) But I think the man in your pic may be able to help you if you want it faster than that.

The best solution, is to use the following link:
http://convert.wajihah.com/
Just paste the Arabic text into the LARGE white box and hit the button. It switches it around, so that by the time you paste the result into Vegas and Vegas edits it, it should then look fine.

Writing in Arabic isn't usually a standard feature in lot of applications for obvious reasons.
