I've just been given a HTC Touch Pro 2 as my work phone and I can't seem to get round it?! Eg. When I press "email", it brings up the first email in my inbox rather than the "front page" then once I close the "front page", it brings back up the first email again. It doesn't automatically send/receive, I can't seem to alter the brightness and message tones etc...
Am I being completely stupid and somehow missing these options, or is this just a rubbish phone?!

Might not be helpful to you as it is a work phone, but I do believe you can put Android on the phone. Would probably improve it tremendously. http://xdandroid.com/wiki/Main_Page

The current OS running on the device is probably Windows Mobile 6.5, you could have a search for guides or help about that on Google which may help you become more familiar with its settings etc.

When I got it, there was a note saying that downloading non company applications wasn't allowed... Could they tell if I've downloaded Android? Will it affect the fact I use Outlook for my emails, because on my HTC Hero I use their inbuilt email thingy to log into my Hotmail and it's really slow, doesn't download things properly etc.
Also, I have two inboxes - mine and a group shared inbox... Can I have this on my calendar too so I can send meeting requests from different email accounts? Does that make sense?!

Sorry baffledsalmon, that is a little above my pay grade unfortunately lol. The Android development is still under development, so some things you may need may not work. The best thing you could probably do is look online for specific information regarding the Windows Mobile 6.5 OS and the applications you are using to change the settings.

Didn't come with instructions. I have worked out how to do the brightness... Only requires going into SIX different setting screens...
