sounds great on paper.
It's the "BY REDEMPTION" bit that worries me.
has anyone actually redeemed such money?

Sorry guys I misread the Quidco as £50 which is for Blackberrys only.

The cashback is £40. I have corrected the title.

"with redemption " is the scam where you have to send in your bill every few months to claim the money back, and you usually only get a weeks period to do so...

so basically they are hoping you forget, or can not be bothered as most people do.

What a huge load of rubbish, you clearly don't have a clue what you are talking about...

1. It's hardly a scam if its easy to do and they explain it to you
2. You get 60 days to claim, you are told at the beginning of the contract when you can claim, you can log on to your online account to find out again if you lose it, you can email them to find out when and you can call them to find out when.

I'm on my 5th redemption, 3rd with dialaphone, and haven't had a single problem.

I have no sympathy for the morons who take over priced contracts on the basis that they will be getting cashback, but can't even work out the simplest procedure of putting a bill in an envelope and posting it. It's because of these people I can continue to enjoy ridiculously cheap contracts...
