I have noticed many complaints against the Moderators in the last week. In general I think they do a very hard job (as we all do ) . However my complaints to Admin just amount to "we're sorry shouldn't have happened etc " .Should this be accepted by members ? In my job ,as I suspect in most jobs ,you do it badly you are called to account and must explain -this does not appear to happen in the HUKD world .
I like to post and help members and appreciate when members do likewise for me - Surely that is what the site is about ?
I have no problem with criticism of my deals -its part of what this sites for - but I do respond robustly ,maybe sarcastically to inaccurate or childish comments re our post -as I believe we all should if this site is to retain credibility.
Why then do the Mods place a reply from me to a blatently inaccurate post in the "Awaiting Moderation " queue for 6 hours ? OK a bit of sarcasm in an attempt to deter such puerile posts ,but nothing abusive or insulting .
To me an apology is not enough ,I know it must be a difficult site to police but surely the Mods and Admin have to do much better .
