yeah well its uk law.

dont like the paypal idea, people might not pay if they lose. compromise the whole integrity of this operation

dont think there will be enough interest to be honest.

It's the law not a joke. And blackgerbil would be organising illegal gambling if you enter now he knows you're under 18. Plus pokerroom.com rules don't allow under 18's to use the site.
Why not go to the playground or something instead? :-D

Sounds good to me, I'd opt for the $5 stake (I is poor :-().

Whats the minimum deposit at pokerroom? Are there any sign up bonuses?

It might be a good idea to look around for a poker site with good sign up bonuses (or quidco etc) so those who are having to join up get a bit of a bonus too (as generally its a £10 or £20 minimum initial deposit).

there will be 2/3/4 tables depending on how many people are up for it.:p

lol - cool, on paradise where I currently play they do 2 or 3 table tourneys where you start with 20 or 30 players then split the winnings around the last 5-9 players depending. same as the big MTT's but on a much smaller scale.

that give you a much bigger pot with still a small stake but obviously with a bit more competition!

You can't create any custom tables on paradise as far as I know though so we would find it hard to do it completely privately.

worto.

edit - oh & if there is space for me & your thinking of 21:00 sunday thats cool cuz I finish being oncall at 20:00 so I can even have a beer while we play :)

Sounds good to me :giggle:

There are lots of poker sites that let you play games for fun (not real money) where you can practice your online-poker face, its a fun game

I'm happy with 21:00 Sunday.

I'll register with them tonight sometime & see what the site is like.

If you can create custom tables what sort of options do you get?

Starting chips?
Timing between blind levels?
No. of players per table?

Do we have to choose the before Sunday or is there a dafult we can use on there?

worto.

yes be would ideal.

I am up for it but i would only do it via Paypal.

I would suggest we play facebook poker and have prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

We should all pay via Paypal to a trusted member before we start, which rules out the possibility of people not paying.

i'm game, but I dont think its a good idea using paypal.
