Humax PVR9300T Channel Retune Prompt

Anyone know how long the message will keep appearing? I have done the retune several times, but the prompt appears everytime I turn on the TV.

It's a very well known problem on both 9300s and 9150s Pred, there is a huge thread on it on digitalspy here, it looks like I'm one of the lucky one's as I haven't had the problem.

Humax apparently say it's a combination of the latest softare updates and some (from what I've read it's most) transmitters sending out wrong info.

They are aware of it and say they are working on an update, more info here post 271

It seems to be very hit and miss to whether you get the problem if you read the whole 14 page thread on digitalspy, it seem to depend on a lot of factors.

Nobody including Humax is exactly sure what is causing it or how to solve it but it is definately a new problem that was introduced at the time of the new software update.

Some people have reverted to the old software which fixes the pop-up but introduces the older problems that the updates were supposed to fix.
