He's turning 60... but no mustn't get anything age related.... he's sensitive. (tho tbf he doesn't look his age)

Cant get socks, ties or aftershave... that gets covered at xmas....

He likes roman games you know the god games where you build towns, an army and complete quests and kill people.

Other than that I have no clue what to get.

Any ideas or at least someone tell me, that they agree each year it gets harder to buy for someone close to them... cos I think it does....

*off to think in a corner*

I just had to sort my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary present out! My god that took my ages to decide that to get, in the end its all alot of tack, but then again what do you get people who have everything and dont want for nothing.

Hope you get sorted in 2 days :p Sorry not much help lol

Hi, I bought from Ebay for my dad in-law one antique style pocket watch pesonalised with DAD in front. Got it for £2-3 because cause is from Hong Kong I think. Stil hasn`t arrived but hopefully will. His Bday is in June.
Hope that helps.
Also can subscribe him to some magazine- this way he will get this present all year round...Or even some experience day (Tea afternoon, or Spa day), or why not Heritage membership since he likes history...

lol OP - I used to be in the same boat though. Ended up getting practical stuff for him as there's only so many Frank Sinatra cds I could buy. Used to make him up food hampers or gift boxes with all his favourite stuff in it. Or tickets to go and see something at the theatre or a concert - my dad loved Jools Holland so that was easy to get when he was up this way (especially since Ol Blue Eyes was no longer with us).

Good luck with it - I totally sympathise!

Im liking the wine tasting idea... but i'll keep that in reserve for next year (scuse the pun)

Wish my dad liked concerts, footie or music etc would make my life so much easier.

Well still thinkin.... mum just rang askin me for ideas... shes stuck too....mentioned w=the case of wine and a new pillow and she wet herself laffin.... dont want to encourage him tho....as tempting as it it is X)
