I cannot see how it is "portable" as it seems to only work on mains electric - it says it should work for 2 hours though? I can't see or get to any batteries so am I mad as I can't work out how it works. - I don't think you can tell if it has "charged" and I assume if I can't see batteries then if they don't charge it has just broken as I would n't be able to change them.

In any event 2 hours playing time isn't very much - do portabe dvds normally last for this long or longer?

Thanks a lot

Yes it will be battery powered for portability, I am sure there will be a charging / charged light on there somewhere. 2 hours is pretty standard and not really enough. Is there no in car charger socket on it?

not sure - wil get husband to look for it otherwise she is only ever going to get a short film out of it before it goes off.

Thanks
