I tell you it wasnt great at the time, cause i didnt realise front came off i thought i would cut the the old one off so maybe i could see what i needed to do, so then i realise there is no way of getting the new one back on:w00t: My kids nealry ended up throttled, but i kept at it, near to tears and then worked out how to remove the front, and once that was off i managed it, after the event i was relieved though and dead happy that i had managed something a professional wanted to come in and charge me £50 for:thumbsup:

At times it aint much fun being single and broke, but other times its great

Hey dont knock her for someone who as never done it before it might have seemed a daunting task, its easy to get the pipes cross threaded and cock it up, so fair play to nutta for giving it a go.
Nutta can you come orund and show my Mrs how to work the washing up bowl and dishcloth together? It must be too technical for her as I always seem to end up having to "demonstrate" how thats done. :giggle:

Seriously though fair play to you for giving it a go! You did remove the packing brackets/bolts from the back of the machine though didnt you??? I know it may seem obvious but I do know someone who killed a machine by not doing that (and no it wasnt me!!!).

Sorry between me typing a reply and posting it you put that you'd removed the bolts!

The idea for an all-female odd-job company franchise was kicked out of Dragon's Den last week:whistling:

I bet pcnutta can not only plumb in a washing machine, but also use the delete button when she double posts!

I know these 'men' that won't attempt simple manly tasks also, it is these who we laugh in their face at.

I left the transit bolts on when installing my first washing machine. Took me ages to work out what the funny noise was

That's when I first came across the term RTFM !

Oh and for those that don't know, I'm male (ish) :w00t:

Well done pcnutta
