Is Bluetooth switched on on bothe the PC and Phone?

My Netbook sees my Nokia phone but will not receive or send to it / same the other way around. I don't understand why.

You probably do need drivers. Put the name of the dongle in google and see if there is anything available.

Go to Control Panel, switch to Classic View, then look for Bluetooth. Click the icon, then options, tick the on box. Tick the Connection boxes too.

have you told the pc to accept a file ? there should be a bluetooth button in your task bar ???

right click on it and select "accept a file" or something similar

then when you look for devices on your phone ... it should see your pc

is the dongle plugged in right now if so look at the bottom right hand corner of your screen and see if theres a blue circle with a white squiggle in it.
if there is right click and select recieve a file, now send the pic from your phone. It should now send the pic. This is a quick way of sending stuff until someone with more know how can give you a better answer.

There should be a bluetooth icon at the bottom of your screen. If you right click it, it should give you the option to pair devices?

Make sure Bluetooth is turned on in your phone and installed in the PC.

If it's anything like mine you should then use whatever software is used for your bluetooth (on the PC) to 'scan' for devices. Your phone should pop up (as long as bluetooth is activated) as a device and then I think you have to accept the connection on the phone with a four digit code.

As others have said though, much easier just using a USB cable and connecting it via that.

If you do a search of your pc for pictures. When the pics you want come up if you click them it should tell you which folder they're in.

no probs, I just use this way rather than faffing about with pairing etc which on my desktop seems to have a mind of its own, sometimes it wil, sometimes it wont. I think it just does it as it knows it annoys me.
