Just drive to Liverpool city center, park the car & nip the shops for 5 mins, it will have soon been removed............

It depends on the model, some the older kenwoods you would need flat keys and are fairly easy to replicate with a tool, but some of the newer ones are much more difficult to replicate have lots of jagged edges that clip in. You can always pull the cage out itself that it sits in, I have done this plenty of times with a small electricians flat blade screwdriver, but you will have to be careful not to scratch your dash board. You can help by putting your hand under the dash behind the unit to give it a push, but that' depend what car you've got of course.

Of course you could nip it down to Halfords and they will remove it for you they will have spare keys, or you can order spare release keys from kenwood themselves if you have proof of purchase.

if you have'nt got the tools provided with stereo .Use two bread knives and push in to each side of the stereo (between the stereo and cage) until you feel a slight click then pull out the stereo slightly and remove knives and it should slide out completely . That what i did when i lost my tools provided.

1. Switch it on
2. Leave the car unlocked
3. Go away for half an hour

He'd have to leave the keys in :whistling:.They might take everything and leave the stereo on the kerb
