I got a flu-type bug in October last year and ever since have caught everything! Not only that, but i get bouts of tiredness where 12 hours sleep isn't enough. Its been going on for ages, had a test for Glandular Fever the other day and it's come back negative. I'm getting so annoyed now cos I don't know whats wrong with me!

Rant over.

Try drinking lemon or lime squeezed into water throughout the day.

* Lemon water has excellent digestive properties and can ease heartburn, bloating and other digestion problems
* Lemon water cleanses and stimulates the liver and kidneys
* Lemon juice contains calcium, magnesium and potassium
* Lemon juice has been known to relieve asthma
* Lemon water (hot) offers relief from cold and flu symptoms while providing some much needed Vitamin C
* Lemon juice is a great skin cleanser

Being ill is not nice. Make sure you pester the docs.

Ask your doctor about M.E./CFS. Hope you feel better soon!
If you get fobbed off by doctors and all of your blood tests come back negative and you're still poorly, have a look into it.

Hope your feeling better soon, don't let the doctor fob you off - you need to get to the bottom of this.

....someone once told me that GPS are like secretaries and you need to get your way through them to speak to the boss!

Be persistant - ask for a referral

Go back to your GP and explain your symptoms, do not be fobbed off.
if your GP hasn't got an answer for you ask to be refered to someone who maybe able to help.
It could be just one of those lingering viruses lots of people seem to have had this year.
don't get stuck in a rut, make sure you stick to a routine, try daily exercise, even a short walk in the fresh air sometimes can help? plenty of fresh fruit and veg, sorry I don't mean to go on.
I hope you start to feel better soon.

god that was quick! Well, I had a really bad illness in October and have never quite recovered from it!

I have booked another appointment with the doctor so hopefully we'll start making some progress. It's just so frustrating when you have to have all these different blood tests and they come back negative and so you're back to square one!
thanks for the support everyone!

Good luck with the doc, hopefully he'll give you some good news, a magic pill and get you all better again!

:w00t: Wow....

but OP has not mentioned any of the symptoms you refer to .

Nothing wrong with lemon juice but with the majority of the claims above, they cannot be proven. However, unlikely to do you any harm
