A 555-mile, 5-hour plane trip was flown at two speeds. For the first part of the trip, the average speed was 105 mph. Then the tailwind picked up, and the remainder of the trip was flown at an average speed of 115 mph. For how long did the plane fly at each speed?

What sort of job are you applying for? If the interview is conducted properly the questions should all relate to the skills and experience you will need to be able to do the job. Read the job advert and job description, you should be able to work out what they're looking for. Then try to think of examples of things you've done that demonstrate that you have those skills. Interviews are often much less stressful than people imagine, take your time answering the questions, if you don't understand anything ask for clarification, don't make things up, if there are areas where you don't have the required experience, admit it but say you're keen and a quick learner. Try to relax and very good luck.

Two hours @ 105mph and three hours @ 115 mph (2 x 105 = 210, 3 x 115 = 345, 210 + 345 = 555) Do I get the job?

Do not say that this is your first interview!!!!!!! By all means say that you have just got you degree but let the person doing the interview make there own assumptions! if you feel that you have the relevant qualifications for the post that is all that realy matters, just be yourself not to confident and smile!!!!
Profesional interviews are all about convincing the company that you are the right person for the post make sure that you have your CV to hand and that you can answer any relevant questions about it. Also has the company got a web site,if so learn some facts about it and be prepared to let them know that you are interested in working for them because they are a dynamic forward thinking company. Just tell them what you think they want to hear. Lastly at the end of the interview ask this one KILLER question Is there anything that i can reasure you on that may have said in my interview.
Good luck

1 I know that with the skills that i bring i can become a asset to the company ( i like a bit of confidence but not to much!)
2 By motivating myself i belive that others follow ( this shows that the individual is a team player one of the most important things i look for)

Reaserch as much as possible about the company. Be positive. Admit if you do not know something.
Its a performance, sell yourself with good body language and eye contact..

If you were a car what type of car would you be? That was a question I was asked by two different companies when I went for interview. !! :)

I was once asked 'If you were a biscuit, what biscuit would you be?'
'This probably isnt the company for me' I replied.

LOL

How do you motivate and develop direct reports?
How do you manage poor performance?
What skills do you think you could bring to this role?
How would you approach the role and what would your strategy be?
What do you do when dealing with difficult people (peers)?
Example of above.
Explain when you have made a difficult decision?

Will think of some others later if needed.... What is the industry/sector of the interivew?
#27
When should a question mark be used? ;-)
#28
Found this link.... hope it helps ... at the bottom of the questions is a link to suggestions for answers/how to answer..
Best of luck
