Feebay for the screen. And its really easy to replace. You just have to be careful that you don't damage the ribbon cables. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJ3W6Y9zTQY

Not done a DS Lite, but have totally refurbed an Advance SP, and don't imagine that they are too different.

If in doubt, most comp shops will do a repair service. I sent my daughters one to someone on Ebay - excellent service, and was about £30 all in.
If I can find the seller, I'll let you know

If it's less than a year old you can get it repaired by Nintendo, as it's a cracked screen they may charge for it, had my daughters repaired free (only a cracked hinge) sent a freepost label and you can track it online.

Not worth it imho. The screens really easy to replace, and cheap on ebay. It could take weeks at nintendo. And they will most definitely charge an inflated repair bill as cracked screens are not covered by the warranty.

Hello, yes if the screen is cracked and is white with black it is the actual main lcd screen that is cracked, the touch screen is seperate and wouldn't neccesarily be damaged. As you may already know the touch screen part sticks on top of the lcd screen.
The wifi module doesn't need to be removed but I see you have already done this which makes it easier anyway.
Just be careful not to break the small touch screen connector on the board, make sure you put the right screws in the right places as some are longer than others and will go through the other side.
Also be careful when replacing the bottom part of the casing not to snap off the vol or power switch.
The mic and wifi wire need to be in the right location or the fitting wont be right too also be careful of the shoulder button springs as they can be fiddly.
I think I've covered everything, anything I can help with just ask.

You are brave as opening a ds lite can be tricky and things can break quite easily but obviously you have good hands and an eye for detail.
