Will the Post Office TRANSFER my BT line or do I have to tell BT myself otherwise I will be getting charged by both?

And do I need to tell O2 who I am getting broadband from and Sky for the TV (I am keeping the same number)

Thanks x

Post office will tell BT, nothing is changed in the exchange so you shouldn't need to o2 and you defnitley don't need to tell sky.

Post Office will let BT know, BT will write to you to confirm you are leaving. Post Office will give a switch over date. Swapped my Nana over, work for BT.

My move from BT to Post Office was relatively seemless. I think I lost the phone for about 40 mins. 24 hours for the internet whilst they reset the link though the ZyXel box..

If the line rental is transferring then yes

Nope, I just switched from BT to PO. Excellent service so far. Make sure you use the free calls to UK mobiles on the weekend! Mega savings.

Like someone pointed out. call up post office and confirm everything is set up (no point doing so if you have the welcome pack). Ask for switchover date. They let BT know. BT write to you to confirm you wanna leave, if you do, you dont have to do anything! They will send you your last bill and done! Post office becomes your provider. No need to tell SKy or O2.
