I knew Sky Player on the 360 would be a rip off!

Not too bothered about it anyways because I have a sky box right next to my 360 but was gonna use it for channels I haven't got without subscribing to them.

Just tried watching a channel I already have but on the 360 and I have to subscribe to Sky Multiroom!

Another useless feature for the 360 - especially with the amount of people that have decent freeview and Sky. Don't know about you guys but I bought my 360 to play games.

You were under the impression that you would be able to receive extra channels that are not part of your SKY subscription, just because you are viewing it via your 360 ??

I do agree about the multiroom ripoff though. I pay for my sky subscription so should be able to get it any room I bloody well want without having to pay for it again.

I cant get sky because of trees etc, i was hoping this would get me some decent content, price is a litlle expensive for what you get though.

i think the prices are a bit excessive tbh, i got both movie packs and stsandard entertainment, £21.33 for first 3 months think il just have it 4 this month n cancel better off having sky full package in your house then use 360 to get the beneifit i dont know what sky tv prices are like,

did you not get a month free multiroom when you signed up via the xbox website?
#9
so if youve got sky and xboxgold you still have to pay for multiroom?

The prices are steep, but you know what high prices mean...

Someone will create a workaround so you can get ALL channels for free. Maybe a little wait yet but I think it will be pretty easy to do with a machine of XBOX 360 capabilities!!

If you have the max broadband package then it won't cost you anything either.

Haven't been able to try it yet cause its always broke!

I have this and MOST things seem free. the Sky 1 stuff isn't but the rest seems to be. Even the films. that's the best bit for me; hundreds of free films ready to be watched for free.

.....did i mention the word free???

I've heard that a few things on Sky 1 cost just over £1 an episode, but I'll be glad if films are free!

the main benefit of this is if you are a Uni student or know someone whit all the sky channels as you can just pay the 9.75 a month to get sky, you dont even have to be in the same house as the original dish.

I wouldnt mind but its not in a different room, if my sky was in the front room then fair enough but its only wasted on me because its easier enough to switch to sky in my bedroom, I was just hoping I could get channels like ESPN and SS2/3 for the football and tennis.
