Rewritten @ 8:55pm
I had 4 VCR Players to sell on ebay, which I originally listed for £9.99 (Item number 150352369325)
I sold 2 of them sold within a couple of hours of each other. I decided that they therefore must have been too cheap, so I edited the ebay listing and increased the final 2 available to £11.49. An ebayer then decided to buy 1 but bought 2 by mistake. I therefore refunded them the money and seeing as had still one remaining had to relist it.
So I relisted thinking it was 1, when in fact it was 4 ( Item number 150352764969). Seeing as it was for another 10 days, I decided to list the last one for £12.99 . An ebayer then decides to buy 2, as I only hd 1 available and nervous that if I refunded the difference, the buyer wouldn't want just the 1, I refunded the whole amount and told them my mistake and that they should buy the last remaining one if they still wanted it. I then quickly changed the listing so it was 1 available.
2 hours later someone else bought the last one and I sent it to them, thinking the original buyer of the 2 had not wanted to go ahead with it. I then sent an ebay cancellation to retrieve the final fees for the last 2, which was declined by that buyer. I accepted he might have not been happy with the outcome, so I let it go and I was only out of pocket for a couple of quid.
Today when I logged on I received that feedback
seller not got goods to sell now selling same goods for more money
, which I was really not happy at, seeing as I had refunded the buyers money and explained the situation.
