Today was the last straw for me and this awful Fast Food Restaurant. A few months ago i had vowed never to go back but due to going on nights tonight i wanted something 'quick' and 'easy'.

My first problem about a year ago: They gave me a Bacon Double Cheeseburger with the top bun missing!

Second problem about 3 months ago: Was waiting half an hour for my meal and people who were being served after me got their food before me! (I'm sure there are many others who have had this problem before)

Today i got a Bacon Double Cheeseburger then when i got home i put it on a plate and went to eat it when i noticed the top and bottom bun were rock solid. Stale as can be, i dont know how long it had been sitting in Burger King.... the bun was so hard that when i tapped it on the work surface it made a loud banging noise!

Straight in the bin as had no time to go back and complain to those cretins.

Will never ever go there again. Usually bite my tongue and carry on but this has boiled my wee.

Has anyone else had similar encounters with this awful company?

Yeah i was pretty gutted about not doing that, one of my regrets, but the biggest regret being i even decided to set foot in that dodgy place.

Probably. They deserve all they get anyway. :whistling:

Yes you're right, we're all just jealous!

You know, it must be great to be a Utd fan. How great it would feel not to have this pent up hatred burning away inside.

Never had a problem with them,
#14
what do you expect when you order junk food?
#15
And what's the alternative? McD's? I don't think so. KFC? Fat chance.
#16
Like anywhere it varies as I have had similar problems at McDonalds which is why I stand to the side of the counter where I was served so the staff dont "forget" im there.

No Burger Kings around here as Mc'Ds gets the business but I prefer BK burgers.

I think the rant [that I totally agree with] is ultimately to do with entering into a contract with the establishment for them to provide you with a product that is fit for purpose.

They did not fulfil their obligations in this contract. You therefore have right to complain.

The trouble being, though, is that many of the staff on the counter are paid peanuts & hence the monkeys serving you (if they speak some variant of English you understand) have little or no training in good customer service.

I know I am probably over-generalising, but the food is not particularly cheap and, in some cases (that I have experienced), is not particularly good either.

I will always complain & have asked for a refund on half-eaten food before today because I have not received satisfactory service.

But, as mentioned, the nature of the transaction is fast in/fast out (ha ha), and if the place is crowded or you are in a hurry you are less likely to stand & count you have the correct number of items, if they are correct (done "your way"), and/or if they are edible.

Voting with you feet as a singular entity will not be noticed.

If many hundreds or thousands of people boycotted Burger Jester & McDonuts for a few weeks they would have to listen.

BFN,

fp.

A "Fast Food Restaurant"; but rarely is.

You run in for something quick because you are in a hurry.

By the time you've jumped into your car (or driven through the drive-through [and not had to wait 10 minutes for a special grill order]) you are at least half a mile away before you realise there is a mistake & then cannot be bothered to go back.

Street Confidence Tricksters operate the same way with their fake auction tactics.

Thanks fanpages for the backing. I agree it is a rip off for what i have got and didn't get the chance to complain in person (wish i would have.)

In reply to bigbob909 i am not one who regularly complains about the slight imperfection of anything and after todays events i saw it fit to voice my opinion on this awful company that calls themselves a fast-food franchise.

The only time i will ever set foot in there again is if i see it on fire and have to rescue someone.

You're very welcome (to them).

I misread what you typed on first glance in that you were setting fire to the place.

Flame grilled how you like it, for sure! :)

there had to be some obnoxious posts about eating fast food...spit on people who eat takeaways....spit on them and then burn them!

I thumbed(lol) cos I thought it was funny if I read into that post what I think the lad meant.

As in someone complained about getting really dire food and someone else then posts to say they gave him the good stuff Lol meaning you were lucky

Whereabouts are you? I think the kind of service you get from alot of these kind of places depends where you go. The Burger King near me is fine but I know of some really scabby ones elsewhere so alot of it is down to bad management rather than the brand as such.
#30
I think it depends where you go, I've never had a problem with Burger King but to be fair my expectations arn't that high when it comes to fast food as I feel you have to take them for what they are. Love bacon double cheeseburgers though :-D
