I'm off to Dublin for the day next wednesday with hubby & kids on the 1p flights, my mother in law was supposed to be coming but isn't now. What do I have to do about her ticket, we have booked with online check in & need to know what to do? They won't charge us any extra seeing as she's not going will they?
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go in Dublin while we're over there? Thanks

There shouldn't be a problem with your mother in law not travelling. I went to Dublin with a group of friends before Christmas with Ryanair and one couldn't make it, the rest checked in as normal and there was no problem.

Put the kids to bed and go out down Temple Bar..;-)

not much for the kids to do, apart from dublin zoo in the park.

yus Guinness factory is amazing when you get to the top its even better a whole pint of the black stuff and a view to die for! Bit annoying that there are limited seats though i can imagine kids wouldnt be too happy to stand around

Hiya , Dublin flights are definately from the South Terminal at Gatwick. Hopefully by Wednesday the weather will have brightened up & if this is the case you could do much worse than take the family to the zoo. www.dublinzoo.ie has the details.

Dont forget to do some shopping up Grafton Street, and pop into Brown Thomas...its Dublins version of Harrods.

Plus if its a nice day have a walk round St Stephens Green Park at the top of Grafton Street.

Have a good time. I think that your little ones might enjoy the Guinness place more than you: I thought it was a bit tedious to be honest BUT the view is great from the top - you'll all like that. I was shocked that they serve the black and white cold!
