You will have an awesome time. I remember the first time I went. You will be surprised how people look after you and the service in restaurants etc is brilliant, they really do try to please you and take great pride in their work. Disney etc is magical, in fact the whle experience will be magical.
Have a great time!
Ps I hate heat too, but the heat is dry and not so bad, besides everywhere is air-conditioned...... even out side they blow huge air fans & spray water mist to keep you cool. When you see it you will see what I mean.

PPs Don't buy any clothes to take with you. They are so much cheaper there and usually better quality. Look for cupon books, they are on the streets, in the hotel and give you stuff like buy one meal get one free and lots of other goodies.

Not at the moment. My brother lives in Florida and he's moaning about 100 degree heat and almost 100% humidity. Heat index showing around 120 deg. Too hot and sticky for him or me.

Eek 100 degree heat will kill me, and I can't begin to imagine what the humidity will be like! Thank goodness for aircon!

I've had a look at the dibb, it's ace! I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it la la la la :)

At 7.30am it's like you just got out of the shower, but forgot to dry yourself.

That's why the malls are always full of people escaping the heat and humidity. Xmas in Florida is perfect.

have a good time, you will love it  shame hubby cant go, i do dont heat either but it was ok. it was my first time on a plane when we went, i think it was an 8 hour flight :?

we've been twice now, first time without kids as we didnt have any, then we took the little people when they were old/high enough to get on the rides.

Its not just for the little people, its for the big people as well, i was like a big kid, i bought an autograph book in Disney & got all the characters to sign it  i was like a kid in a sweet shop.

the firework display they have at Epcot was out of the world !!!

thats my afternoon sorted im going to watch our videos we took of it.

I soooo want to to go back.

With regards to the humidity, just buy a water fan from one of the parks. It may seem pricey at the time but my goodness me will you be pleased for it. Its's like a plant sprayer but with a fan fixed onto the squirter so when the water comes out it goes through the fan and turns into a mist. We buy one everytime we go as they are so fab at cooling you down and make such a difference.

Have fun!!

You'll be all right, it's hurricane season so the wind and the rain will keep you cool!!

I feel tight at the moment because I promised my lad on his 13th birthday we'd take him to Florida, but I came out of work and couldn't afford it. Two years later, he still hasn't been, so I've just been upstairs and told him that you've invited him along with you!! THANKS :-D

Mission to Space gets my vote (EPCOT) - though they have watered the ride down. Someone died on the ride the day I first went on it! But don't let that put you off!
