I'm think of selling my PS3 - What's it worth?

It rarely gets switched on, what are 60GB launch models fetching these days?

I also have two controllers (1 sixaxis, 1 DS3) a blu ray remote, over 50 games and half a dozen blu-rays...

Games include practically every first party game with the exception of Killzone 2 (and MGS4 - which is on another thread)

Would it sell as a package? I'd like to avoid splitting to keep postage and hassle to a minimum.

Hi I know you dont really want to split the package but would you be willing to sell the 6 axis controller seperate, if its in very good condition ofcourse.

Also what games do you have? wouldnt mind a few new games...

Yeah I could do but I'll not get half of what it's worth... I'd prefer to sell to somebody with a passion for gaming as it;s quite a nice starter package...

i think ud be best off selling everything seperate maybe put a blu and game with ur ps3

£10 max really. I'll take it off your hands...

You are going to make a lot more cash selling the games individually. Big bundles never make as selling seperately. As far as 'starter package' goes, I think 50 games probably counts as more of a 'complete package'.

Tempting... can you throw in anything else? A bag of marbles, half a bar of fruit and nut, etc?

At least Tree Fiddy . . . .

If you split, would prob take a package of Blu Rays/Games off your hands :)

Would be interested in the unit itself Flodd. Bro has a faulty 60Gb so really wants a new one.

Is this like a reverse auction or something , where we buy bids and never win the item?

In response to your question of "whats this worth".

Its worth whatever people are willing to pay for it , which seems to be about £10

Nice response.

I'd just list the games and unit, depending on what you think its worth people will tell you either way.

But I know your stuff is kept well so I'd definetly be willing to deal with again.

Thank you for your enlightened feeback...

I'm having a party the weekend would you like to come along and be the life and soul of it?

Flodd if you really have a 60GB PS3 then you should be able to sell it for a decent price.

The 60GB model is the only one (at least in the UK) that has backwards compatibility, 4 USB ports and Memory card reader.

It's a shame that you are not for trades because I would be really tempted to swap my 40GB PS3 for the 60GB version and give you something extra.

My advice is don't trade the 60gb in any shop they will give you nothing for it. Sell it but use the 60GB version as the main selling point.

Not sure if you can get £200 for it these days but I would start from there.

I hope this info helps you.
