I Miss my Job! :(

I miss working now at the moment :( I had a great job in Australia, I was working in Retail at a Video Games Store called EB Games, There used to be stores in the UK under the name EB Games but GAME was alot more successful in the UK and eventaully EB Games stopped their stores here. Anyways I had to quit my Job unfornatnetly because I decided to move back to the UK as some of you know anyways. I've been desperately trying to find a great job like my position at EB Games, I throughly enjoyed it knowing exactly what I was talking about. I just feel a bit lost now on what job approach I should take whilst I wait to get back in to Collage in September as I dont want to join in the middle of a term and miss out on whats been taught already, So it's Full Time job searching for the moment! Whats your thoughts about this and your suggestions?

Is there something else you'd like to do? What are you studying?

Currently not studying anything at the moment, Theres many different courses i'd be interested to like Motorsports and Engineering Course, Public Services Course, theres an open day approaching soon so i'm going to pop along to that and check out some more information, I just feel my time working at EB Games was a little wasted as i'd love to get a job to do with Video Gaming Industry again

Ask your tutors what course would be best and maybe try to get a job that relates, an employed person is always more preferable! Good luck! X.

I did a public services course at college, and it was the best time of my entire life! Im in my final year of university now... Depends entirely on what you want to do. Oh and sorry to hear of more unemployment, makes me sad seeing the UK crumbling away

I was veyr interested into doing this. How phyiscally fit do you have to be to do this course? How did you get on with it? I did Phyiscal Education at the GCSE Level but I didnt pass the course unforntantly, I've always wanted a career in the Police and to become a PCSO

Grab yourself a copy of Games TM within the back of the mag in the classified section there are always recruitment jobs and lists of Universities that offer various courses within the Video Games industry sector.

I remember Electronics Boutique here myself before Game, there are EB Games stores within the USA too.
