Ok so when Im on holidays i love a double espresso on a morning, and im getting a little bored of tea back home, my missus would love a machine that also does cappucino so we want a multi drink type, but which is best? We have looked at one of those that you put a capsule in but they just arent the same, i wanna make it myself, maybe even have to grind the beans too.............mmmmmmm i can almost smell it now.

So guys what have you got and just how good is it? Im thinking up to a max 0f say 200 notes.

Cheers

Dolce Gusto Krups Coffee Machine - About £85 brand new

Gaggia. I've got an Evolution expresso machine, brilliant!
http://www.gaggia.uk.com/
They have reconditioned machines from £89.99, if your budget is up to £200 then go for an Espresso Pure for £189.99 and get a coffee grinder. Try to find a burr grinder as it gives a better grind. If you use a blade grinder then to get a fine enough grind, the beans can be burnt and affect the taste, so they say!

Most of the Gaggia machines come fitted with a steam wand/frother so you can make espresso, latte and capuccino. You make a serving of espresso then for a latte you froth and heat milk and serve in a tall glass, for a capuccino just serve with frothy milk or have the espresso neat. Do a search of youtube for some videos, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipQRepfzxfo
