I wouldnt trust something like that with a payment that has 0 protection

if it looks to good to be true then it probably is.
#2
hmm could go either way but he should be a business seller if he claims to be a company.

Plus I'm not impressed by the all caps and bad grammar! Not very professional! lol

Maybe not a scammers favourite, but certainly a thiefs..

Look at the (original) sellers feedback, and look at what the people he has bought from sell - all the purchases are for ebay feedback I reckon. Sorry, but its 100% definately dodgy.

i've been scammed on ebay before, it was Dead Rising Tin Edition Brand New for £11 the seller had lots of cheap items and i got no item

100% agree. The purchases he's made to up his score are from $0.01 purchases. Can't think of a possible reason for that - can you? :whistling:

This is one of the items purchased:

for Less than $1.00 (actually its $0.01 - but who's counting!)

Daniel, say to them, that you have sent your cheque.
As time passes, the cheque has gotten lost
This will allow you some space to watch how the other buyers get on, watch their feedback etc,
Morally, this is very wrong i know, but seems an easy and cheaper way out of it.......

Gawd give me stenght.:x :x

He changed his ebay name on the 26th from skyylinnee to warehouseripontastic, it takes ebay a few days to implement the changes.
As for paying by cheque, you knew he did not take Paypal BEFORE you bought it, the time to query that is BEFORE you buy an item.
Also, with a cheque, you have the guys name and address.

Well come on DC, it's not rocket science, is it?
The tools are there to be used, but if people are too stupid or lazy to use them well it just winds me up.

I'd better naff off again before I get another 'talking' to about my attitude.

yes I know what you mean, one day people will see the cheap deals as potential rip offs and think twice, trouble is people will always be greedy and that where it all falls down

Its easy to get FAKE positive rep if you want to... Same was as you bump up your bidding price!
Easy if your a scammer and it makes people believe your an honest person with good feedback.. Bull!
Use your mates/partners online using different accounts to bid on your SO CALLED goods a) this bumps up the price, they then allegedly proceed with the transation COD or Cheque recieved etc when infact NOTHING is sold or boughts! Feedback is left ALL WONDERFULL and positive. As its normally a few people in on the scams all helping one another out.
I know people who bid on each others to raise the price for REAL bidders. So unless the person has ALOT of positive feedback and sold for some time i wouldnt trust.

Sorry Dino, maybe a silly question, but what "Tools" are you referring to?
#19
Smells really off to me though, (dino, have you seen the feedback and other things being sold, what is your opinion?). However, the statement that the seller will allow collections is also very odd (although of course its not necessarily true, they could just be saying it to make the sale look more legitimate especially with the free delivery)...

Can't see why/how someone could legally afford to sell ligitimate, new console for £100 when it sells elsewhere for £200+ (why not sell it as an auction etc).

Look at the sellers feedback, you will see a lot of it is for buying 'private' items. Look at the sellers who he bought these 'private' items from and see what they are selling. You will see they sell 'feedback'.

This feedback:-
Many Thanks - Thanks for letting me Collect.
was left TWO minutes after winning it. He is registered as coming from Lancashire.

was also left TWO minutes after winning it. He is registered as coming from Berkshire.

Look at his buyers, most of them are greedy low feedback users.

Look at the bioshock buyers!!!!!!!

they have left feedback only a couple of hours after buying. they could have done it if they collected but i doubt that.
#22
Re your earlier post Dino, I can understand your frustration but I'm sure Dandoc would appreciate advice on how to procede now given that he has made the purchase - yes he probably should have checked more earlier but whats done is done...

Can you explain how those same people managed to leave feedback for collection within minutes of buying online? Its a scam merchant, pure and simple.

Yes its a scam, The old "If its too good to be true, It probably is" comes into practice again..........

I've reported all his listings as suspicious with two big ID's. I suggest everybody reports them as well.
As for this fool, he needs to do nothing apart from report all the listings, this guy will soon be NARUd.
