I'm lying in bed, the missus comes up, says sorry. I ask why. She then passes me my GTA disk. Cracked. The dog had managed to put it's nose on the eject button on ps3 and got hold of it, taking it into garden and chewing on it.

I'm inconsolable.

Dude, that's bad! I won't be praying for your loss (I'm an atheist) but I am sending my condolences through the usual channels of communication. Bring it back to HMV and say it was like this when you opened the box..? :p

Hahaha and you believed her?
I must pass this on to my friend who is desperate to get her boyfriend back from the world of GTA4 - they don't have dogs though, do you think she could blame the guinea pigs?

It is actually very easy to accidentally eject a disc, i do it the whole time while cleaning the ps3 and my little girl who is one is always taking the discs out and playing with them. I do feel for you though, ive been waiting for this game to come out since the launch of the ps3 and still havent got my copy as it seems to have got lost in the post. Damned royal mail!

I thought you were talking about your dog... :D

The missus was very apologetic and was surprised I wasn't too angry. As someone mentioned before at least it wasn't the console or furniture.

This is the same dog that has managed to take a strip of wall off before. Still wondering how she did that. Only a bassett pup as well.

Tonight, on my computer free night, he will probably be watching some rubbish on the telly.

I can't be doing with men sometimes they are such attention seekers.

They want you to be in bed early for a **** and for you to give them your full attention at all times.

Classic wife revenge----got to love it !!!
#28
sorry for your loss

lol

You should have got up, went out of the door, down the stairs, out the door and buy a hot dog so that you have full energy, went back in and beat the wife up and stabbed the dog.

Then go back outside, jack next doors car, go down to the local park, pick up a hooker and vent your frustrations, run her over, pinch her money, and then go buy another copy of the game

just buy another copy lol
#38
:thumbsup:Contact EA and explain what happened. They will probably ask you to return the disk and proof of purchase and give you a replacement disk. I did this for a game and it was no bother.
#39
It must be a terribly sad day for you, my thoughts are with you!
You'd better check if your insurance covers it!
Also, in order for this not to happen again, you'd better buy a cabinet for the console so the eject button cannot be pressed accidentially.

That's £80 on one game - you might have that kind of money!
