I say Pub, You Say quiz,

Right, I've gotta host a pub quiz tomorrow night, & with 'er indoors being ready to sprog-drop any second & tonnes of other stuff going on,( & the fact that I can be a bit of a lazy ****) I've not gotten round to writing me questions.

If anyone of you amazing folk has got the inclination, I need 6 rounds of questions, with 4 questions in each round. The categories are - sport, food & drink, science & nature, geography, tv, & current affairs.

So thats 4 questions on each category, I usually start off with an easy question in each category & make them a tad harder.

Any suggestions for any other categories/questions welcome but I need 4 questions & answers as well because my brain has frozen today for some reason.

Rep left for any help & muchos gratias from the bedford of love in advance!

Also takes our minds off dodgy photos!

Florence Nightingale is rather more interesting then the folk-lore that was set up as propaganda during the Crimean War. In fact she seemed to loathe her 'public image', and it's not true that she cut deaths during that war - they were higher even than usual. Worth a google!!

That's why you have to assume no air resistance, it's just like a pendulum, you'd just reach the other side.
#33
If i used that one in the quiz, it would cause a similar but drink-fuelled pub debate. Especially among some of the more argumentative victor-meldrew quiz heads!
#34

Even with no air resistance after you get through the middle the gravity would slow you down so you would not reach the other side and you would end up going back and forward slightly less every time until you stuck at the middle. Gravity has nothing to do with air resistance.

Yep your right.
Hic! Can Oi ave another pint please
