yeh you can use psp converting software to reduce the image size but the quality will suffer A LOT

stick to four a DVD, that seems ok, but 2 will be better quality

buy a divx player from ebuyer for £20 and get most of a season on 1 disc at same as dvd quality :) it will play all ur torrent downloads without needing conversion as long as it aint mkv

best advice for sure

burn 12 episodes to 1 dvd and no conversion either! better quality too imho than a nero conversion of 4 eps to 1 disk.

I use dvd-rw's too as you can record on them hundreds of times.

yep thats what i do divx all the way

ConvertXtodvd its a brilliant piece of software. Will convert any avi / mkv and others to a DVD with nice menus, chapters and all. Most you'll fit on one DVD without compromising the quality is 4 episodes.

Tesco near me are still doing Toshiba Divx players for £24.97

If you downlaod a lot then a divx player is a godsend, I have my 360 updated to play divx and also my portable dvd plays divx.

Takes all the hassle out of converting and no loss of quality

How do you use divx anyway ?

I use divx files but would never suggest they are dvd quality.. the ones i download are 350mb.. i guess it depends on your tv though.

If they are DVDrips then they are very close to the quality of the original DVD. I play mine through a USB stick through the 360 and so no burning and there is no noticeable loss of quality from original.

But you cant beat the real thing I agree

Be careful you don't break the DRM on your purchased TV downloads...Most of the time it won't let you re-encode to something like DivX, although it may let you burn to DVD.

I am assuming you purchased them of course, as you wouldn't be retarded enough to come on to a public forum and ask how to break the law now would you :)
