They are in the bottom right, should I take it back for a replacement?

Please advise.

yes if its inside the guaratee

i would they sound like dead pixels

Depends what make it is, some only say it's a problem if it has x amount of dead pixels.

It's unlikely they are covered under warranty therefore if you're not happy having the stuck pixels (dead ones would be black) then you'll need to use the store's return policy to take it back. You've not mentioned where you bought it from nor the model of the TV, if you can post these details then it's a bit easier to give you more specific help.

Just return it and get another

If you have just got it then certainly take it straight back to the shop or phone to log the fault. If the shop won't agree or your not happy quote the sale of goods act and say it's not as described and get a refund.

if it's faulty new and now who knows when it will get worse !!!!

If you can hook it up to your pc VGA or DVI/HDMI you could try http://www.jscreenfix.com/ to see if you can unstuck them as they are not dead but 'hot' ie always lit.

What is a red pixel then?

I have a red pixel and used the screenfix but it never worked (on my laptop)

Coloured Pixels are Stuck so can usually sometimes be fixed.

I think 'usually' is a little strong, may be 'sometimes' would be better. But always worth trying.

If you bought this from a shop, you have no comeback. the law allows for 5 dead pixels on a new screen.
If you ordered it online, you have a get out using the DSR providing you return it within 7 days.

I massaged my laptop screen and that fixed it some 6 months ago. Currys refused to repair mine as one or two is acceptable.

I have to admit I think even 'sometimes' is a bit strong, I've never seen any of these programs unstick a stuck pixel.

Cheers. I'm taking it back to Asda tomorrow for a replacement.

They had sold out. There was a full pallet there on Saturday morning.
