I'VE SOLD MY MINI COOPER - GUTTED!!!!!
The time has come for me to wave farewell to my beloved Mini Cooper. I'm so gutted! i LOVE this car so much but the demands on life can be ever so cruel.
Basically I can't do with a 3 door anymore, a boot the size of a match box and BMW's worst after sales service in the world. Not to mention, rip off parts & repair charges. (Breathes a sigh of relief)
However I was a proud Mini owner for 4 years.. one for the photo album folks :) (Shed's a tear)

Still not over it, and still not replaced it.....its too hard... (also sheds a tear)
The bad thing about this is that with the credit crunch it had to go. I'd been zooming around in it for the past 6 months, loving the electric windows, bleep bleep alarm and power steering.
Sadly i'm now back with my 9yr old dinted saxo (which got vandalised) with no electric windows and no bleep bleep lock and no power steering sob x

I'm feeling your pain :friends:
I've already replaced my Mini for a Astra Design. Feel like i've gone down in the world but my car was one hell of a drinker. Most CVT semi -auto's are! :x

swapped it for a veyron eh?!
Were living in such a harsh world! I hope all you folks took piccy's before you sold your cars. Or is it me thats just that sad?
ah u see i wont have that problem, my daewoo has the same amount of street cred as a skoda (maybe less its up for debate) so whenever i get a new car, it will definately be an upgrade! looool
nah, credit crunch, went for an LP640
& has just ordered a brand new Citreon C1 Red (5 door) as you can imaging he is over the moon & I have never seen him smile so much.
£6505 on the road '58 plate' (tax is only £35 a year for these) Insurance group 1 but almost £1,000 year as it's his first car.(ouch)
bit small but not bad for a first car, eh?
What you trying to say about my new Astra Design????, I have you know that the Design spec is pretty slick! :x LOL

Congratulations to your son but no no no no no no no... Tell him not to buy a brand new car for his1st car, his insurance will rocket, plus the depreciation on the car after 12 months is gut wrenching! :w00t:
Thanks for the congrats x ............... but too late! already ordered ..............(He had his heart set on this one, in love & dribbling!! ) ........ For this car his insurance is just under £1,000 .. & also this has the lowest emitions known to man ... lol & the whole reason for buying this one was because they only depreciate about £1,000 in 2 years.
looool i have the daewoo i mean no offence :p snowtiger i started driving when i was 17, my first insurance cost was £1800 and my last was £1200!
WRONG !! Demand for these 65mpg+ cars with £35RFL has gone through the roof. Values will hold up nicely, thankyou very much.
Great choice for a 1st car.
Great choice for a 1st car.
C'mon guys... All cars depreciate, its a well known fact that you lose 17.5% (VAT) the minute you drive it off the forecourt!
Some less than others, but next year RFL will drop to £20 for them :p
