Ideas for a bay window

I have a bay window with venetian blinds at the moment, i want to get rid of the blinds are they are quite old now. Don't want curtains, i was thinking of having roman blinds to the two small windows on the bay and wooden venetians for the middle large window. What do you think?

Ive always been a fan of venetian blinds myself, i even went as far as putting some up in my student property that we've just left!
My new place already has plain verticals in every single window, kinda boring

Not sure about the idea myself, but I have a rubbish imagination.
You used to be able to get some quidco or topcashback for having an appointment with someone from Hillary's Blinds come round for a free no obligation quote and measure up, it might be worth that for the advice, suggestions and cashback, used to be about £10/£15 I think.

If I were you I'd have the same on both sides. I have bay windows and I have roman blinds - one large one in the middle and 2 smaller ones in the same fabric at the sides. It looks good but I have another window where I have wooden venetians and I like it better. The wooden ones are easier to keep clean because they are 'solid' when you wipe them and you can get them in different colours to match your colour scheme. Mine are bleached white and look great.
Depends if you want to be able to see through the glass all the time because the roman ones don't give you privacy in the day like the venetian.

Thanks for the advice, i do need the privacy as its at the front of the house, and don't want people peering in. I have been thinking of the white wooden ones, i have gold metal ones at the moment and they gather dust

Have repped everyone for their help. Have decided to go for the wooden venetian blinds for all 3 windows on the bay in cream with the wide slats. Anyone have any idea where the best place to get these from are?

Yes, the metal ones attract dust and I find them hard to clean, but the wooden ones don't seem to attract it as much and the lighter ones don't show it as much anyway.
