Has anyone else had a problem with the company ijinteriors on eBay? I bought a bed from them back in January,it developed a fault and I have been trying for nearly 3 months to get hold of them! they don't respond to letters, emails,eBay messages, and never answer the phone-was left ringing for 30 minutes one day! Finally got through to a manger yesterday who won't do anything to resolve the matter. They keep changing their address details and company owners name on eBay,very dodgy company that seem to be ripping others off left right and centre!

My main reason for writing on here is to warn other people off buying from them,A fraudulent company selling lots of beds, tables and other furniture on eBay are only doing so to rip people off so please avoid using them!!

What is this fault?

fair enough, after a 2nd look it seems most of them are in the last 2 months, and you bought in January, but there there are a couple showing for December and as you can only see the last 12 months I suspect when you bought it there would have been enough there to start alarm bells ringing.

Ebay are a money-grabbing disgrace. There should be no quibbles - when a seller starts to get feedback like the last 2 months of theirs, they should be stopped from selling immediately. The fact that they just allow them to carry on speaks volumes.

As of this month August 20th ebay did introduce this exact system.

So every neg/neutral every case opened or low DSR gives them -0.10% against their account. If they get 5% of cases/negs..etc then their account goes in the red. After 1 month they get restrictions in selling...etc.

So they've got to get 50 black marks before they do anything? Still seems lenient.

Not really i find it very strict, i have been floating on the boarder for 5 months now. The problem is you cannot trust a buyers opinion, they leave low DSR for example slow shipping, even though they received in 2 days and the auction states 3 to 5 day delivery. The system is ruined by untrustworthy buyers.

This particular seller ljinteriors has over 1000 listings active and each item selling 100s or 1000s of the same item. So yes in ljinteriors case they make so many sales that the negs wont effect them much. Its a balancing game.

So if I was to sell 100 items it would take 50 negs to be in the bad books or 5 ? Seems like a clever way to disguise bad sellers if am thinking right ?

Each case opened/neg/netrual/low dsr...etc is worth i think about 0.20% (just checked) against your account. If it reaches 2% you lose top rated seller status and it falls into the blue section. If it falls in the red section it means you have 5% or more bad points against you.

This percentage is times by your overall sales.

So for example in a 3 month period:

444 sales
10 bad points against you
= 2.25% (lose top rated seller and fall into the blue. It is labelled RED (lowest) BLUE (average) GREEN (top seller)

The after sales service from this company is shocking. We purchased some barstools from them and within 10 months one was faulty. We contacted the company straight away. That was last October. We have been continuously fobbed off since then. We've had enough and are now going to pursue them through the small claims court. They shouldn't be allowed to trade. Steer well clear of them.

Good luck taking them to court-I hope you get something back. Still no joy 6 months after my original post-from when I last checked they are now trading as furniture italia as well. Such a dodgy company!

I brought a bed from this company this week, I had a slight problem as the headboard had a slight tear in the back of it, I must say that they were brilliant about handling it, my partner emailed them around 11am to which they replied in the hour asking for a contact number, they called me as soon as possible (about 2 hours later) discussed replacements or other solutions and we came to a great agreement. In my mind these guys did their upmost best to help settle my concerns and did a great job of it, you must of just had a stoke of bad luck or bad attitude with them to be honest, I complain about a lot of things, but on service I cannot fault these guys, 10/10 would use them again

Positive Feedback (last 12 months): 99.4%

For a company that serves the bottom end of the market when it comes to furniture I'd call that pretty good. If you're expecting quality for those sort of prices, then the problem is with you not the seller.

Congratulations, Westy91, you seem to have been lucky so far. As for me having a bad attitude with them, I certainly did not. If anything, I was too nice to them. Perhaps that's where I went wrong and they thought they could ignore me. I had actually congratulated them on their excellent delivery service, but after care for me (and many, many others if you do a bit of research) has been horrendous.

I completely agree !!!! Ijinteriors are a nightmare !!!!!!! Delivered mefourbrown four black chairs and brown table . Told me they would swap them . On delivery day ihad to ring them , after hanging about , tobe told they had no stock !!!!........ But more stock due . On next exchange date , I rang them again to be told stock had arrived ......... But not good quality ???!!!!! So a full collection was arranged . I explained that not before 9.30 ( my builders are handily. In ) so they arrive at 9.05 !!!!! I organise another date ( today ) . They arrive , they can't give me a receipt (????why) . Eventually driver signs that he has collected fourboxesbut refuses to say they are in good condition , which of course they are .
I now have the really fun. Bit of trying to get my money back !!!

Whatever you do, avoid dealing with this company at all costs. Paid £500 for furniture, never delivered and a month later still chasing a refund!! eBay have advised us to inform the police as its now a case of theft. Crooks through and through!!

Total waste of time, we ordered a 10 piece Garden set, obviously a big delivery for the same sort of price as everyone else on eBay , well a week passed with no contact so I called them, received an email back to say call their transport to get the delivery time, transport weren't interested as it had only been a week so far and they didn't know when stock would arrive,I'm sorry but if your out of stock then don't try to sell items kinda defeats the basic principals of shopping , anyhow eventually received an email some 4 weeks later to tell me the furniture had arrived and would be getting delivered ....... TO MY OFFICE address WTF?? but the email wouldn't let me specify an alternative address away from the postcode ?? So I phoned them and emailed them iji and the transport dept, oh ok sir we're sorry we didn't get told by PayPal of the alternative delivery address but we have now updated the system, fobbed off again and again , the delivery duly arrived, Late and TO MY OFFICE, with damaged boxes which after having to hire a van then to get it all to my house we tried to put it together, with NO assembly instructions or Bolts all 120 bolts were missing !! So yet another phone call to be fobbed off and bounced around different "absent" departments till eventually I get told "the bolts will be despatched immediately , to my home or flipping office ??? No sir to the address on file MY HOME !! , next day a knock at the door and it's the postman

Well i ordered a garden rattan style outdoor chair/table set from them. Was delivered on time as promised.

I then had it boxed up for 2 months nearly (too late to open a PP case) to find the glass was shattered for the table. Emailed them and within 1 day they have a replacement coming out to me next week. Cannot fault them for customer service to be honest.
