Hey all, I have had 4 macs now, and I havent kept them for longer than a day or so. I have a new macbook now, and I really want to get used to it. I love Vista, so is there any new mac owners who have any pointers for me?

I'm pretty rubbish with mine but I do know if you put the curser over any word on your screen and press cmd ctrl d you get a dictionary definition

Ok, move the arrow over a word until it turns from an arrow into a line, then click cmd and ctrl, hold them down whilst pressing d. Also try holding down cmd, ctrl, alt then pressing 8 at the same time. do it again to reverse.

Not amazingly useful I know but it impressed me lol

There you go a "cursor" is often referred to as a pointer:-D
you should be able to d/load many different "pointers" off of t'internet
