Surely if they are advertising on paper form at that price, then it should be sold at that price? Can you take in proof of advertising?
#19
Had no luck with Asda and Tesco's deals(some you win)but would
love to know if our local Tesco's is ever going to reduce the price of
another Blu Ray other than Journey to the Centre of the Earth:santa:

Those were store specific and there was a deep discussion about why - It was due to their supplier basically going bust and they had to get rid of old stock. It was based on the decisions of management in correlation with their sales figures or something.

Anyway, it's the luck of the draw - You win some, you lose some. I actually won some on the games deal, but that's it. Live with it.

*edit* And considering many of the deals are mainly based in mainland UK, you should have less to cry about. No Comet over here, or Morrissons to name but 2.

Some deals as we know are store specific / county specific / day specific etc

Now for the people who can go to that store / county / on that day it doesnt make the deal any less relevant

If there was an amazing deal in a supermarket near you that you saw on here, you'd be a happy bunny that you got the heads up on it and were able to purchase at that price. After all in your own words you were 'making people aware'.

Not every deal on here will apply specifically to you. It also happens that way for the rest of us too.... honest...Think about all those people in Northern Ireland who use this site and see thousands upon thousands of deals that they arent eligable for because of their location (for online purchases) or otherwise.

By your reasoning, that means no deal should be posted to the site thats not available to everyone? So every deal posted on here thats local (not everyone can travel there) / day or time specific (you might have people at work on that day / time) or not available as an online deal to ALL parts of the UK is not relevant and should be posted?

What if the price of those cakes are only local to you? That people cant get them in their stores 100 miles away? Have you checked with stores 100 miles away to see if their available there too? As the OP do you think thats your duty to make sure that it is available to everyone else? Or are you just assuming those cakes are the same price/ available everywhere? Should you be made to take that post down if it was found that not everyone here can benefit?

I very much doubt from your response to jah you are going to fully understand each and every point I have just made in this post for you. But if just one person comes along and 'gets it' and it stops just 1 negative comment or cold vote on a deal which they werent able to get, but was available for others, then it was 5 mins well spent.
