I don't like panto. As theatre goes, it's patronising.

No, don't get me wrong, I like the festivities of christmas. Throwing snowballs at Mr Humbleton and skipping off down the streets, pinching a mince pie from Mrs Spackets kitchen window on the way.
It's just, I find it so hard to immerse myself in the construct and emotion of a pantomime when the horse looks so obviously fake.

I went on saturday to aladdin in Liverpool, it was very poor, Les Dennis looked uninterested, and Pamela Anderson was terrible and looked shocking!

Have been once already and going again after Christmas with the whole family. I am biaised as my daughter is a dancer in our panto (with good old Cannon & Ball) but I love it anyway, it's good old family fun for a decent price, far cheaper than going to see a show in London, well for us it is anyway.

yeah, it was the first time i've been so I enjoyed that bit, although the show as a whole was really really poor, the people I was with though were dissapointed cause they'd seen it all before!

Taking the family after Christmas, it's getting good reviews in Bristol. Dick Whittington with Barbara Windsor. We always throw a spectular panto in Bristol but then again it is a thespian city :3
