Have you checked the apple store for the price, apple are usually price regulated so its generally the same price everywhere, so I'd just knock 10% off

Why don't you just ask for a cash bonus?

I do not understand what you are saying. I asked a reasonable question; where I work you get a choice, a 'gift' bonus, or cash/vouchers.

They are few and far between 'second hand' I've been looking for one for months. Had a couple of 21.5" but it's just not the same :)

Hi bazzaric, what kind of price were they going for?
Will probally post it on here for 3 days or so, hopefully be getting it inside next 2 to 3 weeks or sooner.

Holy ****, is that the kind of rubbish Apple are spitting out, that PC is junk, I wouldn't pay over £300.

Nice one.....:) so you would buy it them for 300? but you call it junk... wish all my 'junk' would go for 300 quid...
Personally I would never buy junk, or even accept it for nothing. But thanks for the info...:)

Funny, at work we bought a pretty high end pc laptop and a 24" iMac, both at the same time...4 yrs later.

The laptop has lost buttons, is so slow despite having half the content on. The finish is worn. It's hardly used as it's just not user friendly.

The iMac on the other hand has it's odd slow moments buy on average looks and performs great, and everyone walked in and says "wow i love your computer" it's actually my personal one at home now only compInt is it's funny picking up a signal.

I had an iBook which was 7 yr old and worked perfect till the day it died and was still as innovative as my friends new pcs.

On paper it looks worse in reality they are far better machines

If you want a quick sale, stick it on at ~£1000. You could hold out for anything up to ~£1200 but it might take a while to shift.

I would get this thread expired asap so you can get it listed straight away without the 7 day rule coming in to effect for you.

Doubt you'll be able to sell it here - I believe it falls under a profiteering rule, similar to receiving a free laptop with a phone contract or whatever.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong... I agree with someone above though, why not just ask for a cash bonus instead of being given a computer you don't want/need?

DragonChris is correct. Stick it on AVForums or Gumtree
