Planning to take colleagues out for an iMax movie at Waterloo
The only films showing on the day is The Day the Earth Stood Still ...
(or Madagascar - not interested in that)
Anyone has any tips re: seats - back seats middle is what I'm guessing is best.

For normal cinemas, yes. Your aim is to be in line with half-way up the screen. I don't know about waterloo, but at the Science Museum IMAX if you aren't right at the back you get a sore neck.... the screen is HUGE hehe.

we went to the one in the science museum but i thought maybe imax at waterloo (being the biggest in UK) might be more impressive for this guy's first experience. it's his birthday :)

thanks for the tips btw, rep on the way.

kips.. middle and top is the best place to sit but they tell you that anyway! and they do a little sound show at the start! well funny!

My old uni is just around the corner and I work just down the road(ish)!

after the film you might want to watch another 3d one (they have shorter films like 30mins as if you buy two tickets on the same day you get a discount!
