Hi all,

hope someone can help me out here :(

had my washer dryer (indesit iwdc6125) for just over a year now, and its started playing up.

first of all it would make clothes wet instead of dry on a 'dry' cycle,

and now today on a regular wash it stopped working leaving water in the drum and all the top row of lights were constanly flashing.

tried turning of and on, still the same happens, does anyone have any ideas ??

I had this ages a go with an Hotpoint washer/Dryer.

Engineer came out and removed a filter and then it was fine.

(wont try to quote you all) but it is the top line of lights constantly flashing.

i phond up indesit and they said there wasnt a filter as such to clean out as it was a condensing unit, unless i am overlooking something obvious.

@wheresmenuts, does it really matter?, amnybe i have other things to do, or the dog wanted to go for a walk

Hi
Definitely check the filter. My wife never knew and ours did the same. It can get clogged up with fluff.
Read manual if you not sure how to do it. Try first as it might be a simple thing. Or you will be paying a lot of money for a call out that you could solve yourself.

it will definitely have a drain access plug which may be blocked

Not sure how to acces the filter the user manual just shows how to clean the pump and the tray that you put powder in, I will. Have another look, thanks

we have a similar problem. the wash cycle goes okay but when it starts the dry cycle, all the lights flash and it stops. we have cleaned the filter out and it still wont dry
