Hi there,

I'm getting a new TV for christmas fo my bedroom that will have built in freeview.

The only problem is that in my room i do not have an aerial port from the one on the roof.
which means i need to get the BEST indoor aerial there is.

Does anyone know of a good one and could recommend PLEASE :D

Thank You!

Why not get the necessary fittings and spur of the main aerial far better long term

If you do the above I'd advice adding a booster as the signal will degrade if more than one TV is active on the cable. Other than that, a good quality indoor aerial will work (not the cheap ones), but you'll probably still need a booster. I use one which I bought from Argos. It picks up about 95% of the available stations.

We run 6 TV's off two aerials on the outside of our house. And we are in an area of really bad signal (you'll literally get no channels at all off a indoor aerial), and all 6 TVs get a perfect picture with no booster.

This isn't correct. I use an indoor aerial (via a booster) both for my TV and PC which are in the attic room. The quality isn't great, but it does work. I would not record of it though.

Errr yes it is true, are you in my house? Otherwise shut up and re-read my post.

So rude my friend, so rude!

You ought to have written "we'd literally ......" rather than "you'll literally" - therefore poor grammar is the offence here.

Well why are you telling me I'm wrong and what I can receive in my house?

Next you'll try and tell me I can get more than just Channels 1 - 4 at home.

Ok, that's enough for me. It really isn't worth getting heated over is it? Have a peaceful evening.

I understood what you meant.. im in the same position.... internal aerial, battery powered booster aerial, mains powered aerial .. the pic is so grainy it might aswell be static.

Got a new tv with freesat.. thought "kewl.. will be able to pickup decent stuff with the same internal aerial"... nothing.

Did you put the aerial up yourself? I'm reading up on it now.. freesat needs sat. dish. sky will fit a dish with some deals... trying to find out if the same dish will work with freesat... can have both problems solved with one install.
