over 1 mil sold with only 3 deaths linked to them, sounds very safe to me why recall

3 deaths is too many

Anyway if them recalling them makes other use them more carfully then its a good thing.

I take it you want every car taken off the road ASAP in that case, TV's banned because one fell on a child once, food that isn't liquidised banned because an adult/child could choke on it etc etc

This is an actual product fault, not someone dropping a telly

the tv fell over due to not being able to stand a small child rocking it, i'd call that a dangerous design

That's classed as 'not using a product for it's correct function' i.e a toy....

And you have the report which says the slings were being used correctly when they killed the babies?

no, but the company obviously have, hence the recall

id call that the parents fault for not supervising there child properly. if your looking at things like that then people with kids should live in an empty house as everything could be a danger for a child.

Why bother to post in a thread thats meant for information purposes, if you have a problem with a company recalling a product for safety purposes then contact that company.

Thanks op, I don't have one myself, but my neice has something similar, so have just texted her to let her know:thumbsup:
