My dad got a speedtouch usb modem from tiscali broadband when he first signed up with them years ago. I want to install a wireless router, and to do this I have installed my nans old speedtouch ethernet modem today (tried to connect the router but it kept saying on setup that it couldnt find the router) so iv just left the ethernet speedtouch plugged in. however, now it wont connect via IE, but firefox works fine. when trying to open IE it says something about not being able to use the modem as its busy, or that its not plugged in. and constantly defaults to work offline. also other settings seems to have changed. is this something to do with me trying to install the router today. I dont know what to do, my dad wont let it go, hes determined to use IE even thow iv told him its pants, and he keeps messing with things. and i have asked google, i tried the answers i understand to no avail. thanku
