Just wondering if anyone here has had travel insurance with Insure&Go....if you made a claim...did everything go ok? I've read a lot of awful reviews about them today and each one sounds very similar to the hassles I'm having with them!
I'm having a right faff on with them at the moment after our suitcase was lost on holiday on 8th May. We filled in the claim form when we got back & supplied everything they asked for on the form.
We received a letter from them on Saturday asking for information they have already received from us as well as really irrelevant things (most of which would be self explanatory - but obviously not to them!)
After LOTS of calls to them today, they have completely contradicted themselves too many times and I feel we're going round in circles!! I'm not sure how much more info we can give them with out repeating ourselves ten times over.
What makes it worse is some of the info they're requesting will take days if not weeks to get (confirmation from the airline that they havent paid us compensation etc)....surely it would take them a very simple phone call to the right people to get this information or perhaps contact them themselves (they have all the contact details of the airline/our home ins etc) and get a fax etc?
I think this is just a really nasty delaying tactic!
Has anyone else made a claim with them? How did it go? Did you get your money? Did you have any hassle?
