Why do you want to work for Orange?

It's my favourite colour

What makes a good salesman?

Seling loads of stuff, it's a numbers game

How do you meet sale targets?

Target old ladies and technophobes

What makes you the right candidate for this job?

What makes any person the right person for a job? Gordon Brown probably isn't the right man for the job but he got it

My interview for the Navy didn't go much better than that yet I still got the job!

Seriously though i've found the best thing to do is not to prepare for the questions, just go to the interview and be yourself, trying to remember al your well thought out answers will just add extra pressure and you'll end up f*****g up

Some questions you need to have a think about before hand for example

What skills you can bring / what you can offer the company
Your ambitions / goals in life

Overall mate the best bit of advice is literally just be yourself and tell the truth, act confident, wear a suit and shake the blokes hand when you enter and leave the interview. Be polite, call them Sir / Madam unless they tell you otherwise.

Go prepared, i.e. bring a copy of your CV with you, be at least 5 minutes early, don't slouch around whilst waiting for the interview. It's the little things that make the difference between 10 candidates who all suitable for the job at the end of the day

All jokes aside, some of the best interviews I have had have been the ones I haven't prepared for...!
If you can do what you say you can, it will come out in an interview!
To a degree, it depends on how they feel, so if you can make them believe in you, you win!!! :)

Well my advice is if your interview is tomorrow then go to bed!

On a serious note when answering questions think outside the box a little as with the downturn in the market at the moment they are looking for people who can go that little bit further.

Be prepared for a role play as he may ask you to try and sell him a phone. The secret is when he says no you have to reel him back in.

Ps Good luck

Pps One more question he will ask is what animal would you be and why. (Mate used to work for orange)

What ever you do - DO NOT get your tackle out and start playing with yourself.

You can forget the sales job immediately.

It will be customer services for you!!!

Store or CS?

Either way just blag it a bit.

Most of the store staff are young people under 25 who act friendly but are more obsessed with sales and think they are "cool" as they work with phones and think they know everything about technology.

CS cant really say but had an argument witn Orange Dial up last year as I wanted it for a month and was told it was ok so cancelled it 2 days into just as I knew I wouldnt need it after that

3 months later got letters saying I owed 3 months money and they had disconnected me for non payment and wanted about £50 in late charges and gave me 7 days to pay otherwise they would take me to court and had staff phoning me up saying there was no record of me cancelling it, and so I never did and I had to pay otherwise they would take me to court and win(typical company attitude) I.e we will take you to court therefore we will win

Eventually I rang back and said I dont owe the money and would love for them to take me to court and see how they think 2 days of dial up access was worth almost £90 and I had copies of the letters and emails sent to them about cancelling and a recorded delivery slip for the written proof.

Never heard back from them after that.
