iPad 2 cracked screen
So my iPad screen screen cracked, fell less than a foot onto carpet and went pop. It had a case on and everything.
Needless to say, I'm devastated, but here's my question.
The apple store told me its £200 for a replacement/repair.
I'm like WTF!?!? Is this reasonable?
I swear it's a defect screen.
Reckon I should email a higher peoples or just accept my loss and throw it away. I definitely can't afford Anywhere near 200 smackers!

Premium will rocket next year
Premium will rocket next year
Whats the point in having it then lol

As long as the claimant is not a repetative claimer, it may go up a bit but it won't rocket.
That might never happen, I do know what you mean though but theres no point in keep paying your premiums just incase something major happens. The whole point is to claim when things go wrong. As long as the claim is not less than excess (if you have any) then why not claim.

Go round your house and practice dropping glasses, mugs, plates, mirrors ect. If a disproportionate number of items dont break then go back to apple and claim its their fault. Your independent testing evaluation says so.

And I swear you're an idiot.
Anyway, a replacement part can be bought from ebay at http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l1311&_nkw=ipad+2+replacement+screen&_sacat=0 , for relatively little money. Fitting it yourself isn't enormously easy, but there will be youtube video tutorials available, and written guides online.

The oven, grill or hair dryer method? :D
The fat woman's buttcrack is the method the real experts agree on.
