Hoping to get the 8gb 3g @ £342, can't see the extra £100 worth it for the 3gs.

Rep for help !

Cheers.

So you would recommend paying £440 for a 3gs ?. I've seen newish 3g's go for around £280 so i thought £340 for a year warranty etc would be better.

hmmm if you can wait till september id wait as t-mobile and orange will be allowed to sell the iphone 3g therefore i expect a slightt drop in price.

Id recommend paying £440 if you can afford it for the 3gs.

Thanks for the advice, I'll see what i can do. I'm not one for waiting, once I've got something in my head I need it there and then.

Will probaly end up with the 3g if I can get enough of a discount. Is the £100 difference worth it ?

If you pay the extra for the 3GS you get loads of super cool extras like a compass!

//sarcasm.

Lol, that's what i was thinking. Think I'll just pay the £342 for the 3g !

the 16gb is the same price though isnt it at carphonewarehouse? it was reduced.

But your making a big mistake getting a 8gb for that much.

Nah, they only have the 8GB. 8Gb is plenty of space for me !

Don't you still have one for sale ?

Ah well, will more then likely end up with before weeks end. £342 is expensive but it's new with warranty and 8GB is big enough for me. It'll mostly be app's for me, plus a few music/video files.

look up the difference in spec and then see if YOU think its worth it brah... one thing that my mates told me about their iphones is they wish they got one with more memory so maybe consider a 16gb 3g rather than a 8gb 3gs (if they even make one)

Oh thanks for the advice, I can't see the £100 difference between the 3g and 3gs worth it. I can live with a slower device, don't need a compass, and there can't be much difference between the cameras.

8GB should be enough as I'll have 100-200 Songs on there, the rest will be apps/games etc.
