went to give my 30 day notice with t-mobile today so that i could go and get an iphone with o2 or orange, t-mobile have said that they can now offer i-phones 3g & 3gs, they reduced my contract payment by £5 until they get the next batch of 3gs come in.

has anybody managed to get a i phone through t-mobile? i know that o2 and orange are the only uk providers but before orange had the contract they were offering the iphone to selective customers.( tesco are saying they will offer iphones in store before xmas)

are there any down falls in using t mobile for the i phone or am i better off going to o2 or orange.t mobile tarrif are similar except they are offering 800 mins a month with the 16 gig phone at £35 a month and paying £75 ish for the handset.

or do you think they are just offering a carrot to retain me

I saw someone on here the other week say that T Mobile were offering them for resigns but I think the general view is that once Vodafone come in after the new year the prices will get better so if I were you id stick with your existing tariff, dont resign it, until you see what Vodafone and Tesco are going to offer

i think vodafone will be offering contracts similar to o2 and orange, tesco will be selling on behalf of o2, so it will be o2 tarrifs but i suppose you will get club points on the purchase of the handset.

I called T-mobile about my contract renewal a couple weeks ago and they offered me the old iPhone but it wasn't made public yet, so I doubt they'll have the 3GS so soon.

i called twice in one day to double check that i wasn't chatting to a wide boy, and they both told the same story, they have 3g iphones in stock but are sourcing 3gs iphones and they will call me when they arrive, so i suppose its just a matter of a waiting, i think i will give my 30 day notice tomorrow, but will say to them that if they can get me a 3gs within the 30 days i will cancel my cancelation and stay with them

so what did you do realfriendlyman, did you get the 3g or did you cancel your contract

I'm keeping my contract for the time being but I told them I'm going to request my PAK code to change contracts if they don't offer me something interesting, as I don't want to keep paying £40 per month for a sim only contract.
