I used iMemory Enhancer and its cocked my phone up, it loaded up and got stuck at the apple logo and its been stuck there ever since, until the battery died.

How can I get it out of this please? I am on 4.0.1 btw

Thanks so much!

How long for mate?

I have held it for the 10 second one, and I have held it for over 2 minutes without it doing anything :(

Do you have SSH enabled? If so try logging in with it and remove iMemory Enhancer.

That same happened to me the other week, I was trying to update something in cydia. And sent it to apple to repair it. But They couldn't find out what the problem is so they gave me brand new one :D

Similar thing happened to me, wasnt the same app though. Yh it should still work, you have to try a few times before it will let you connect. I always leave my ssh on, depends if you leave it on or not.

hold down the home button only, whilst holding down plug into the computer (dont let the home button go), itunes should start up. Will probably say itunes has discovered an iphone in recovery mode - you will have to do a restore (will delete everything off your phone)

restore your iphone like someone has said. it will delete everything on it though. you have to hold power key and home button for 10 seconds then realease the power button but keep holding the home button until a usb and itunes icon appears. you can restore to any ispw (version) if you hold shift and browse to one youve downloaded

Yes I did, sorry for not replying mate

I have just tried what you said now and it comes up with "iPhone restore unknown error occurred (21)" :(

Looks like I'm off to apple :-/ - will they replace or repair it for me since its jailbroke ? ( could they tell from plugging it into their computer )

Also how much do you think for a 32GB black 3Gs with 1 year and a few months of apple care left, mint condition ?
#14
If you take it to apple they will not do anything the jb will show up on the diagnostics and the serial number will be blacklisted

Keep trying to do a full system restore or take it to a third party repair place if you have to.

Ohh ffs :(

NOBODY! USE IMEMORY ****!
#16
Sorry took so long to reply. No the IP address you enter will be different from the PCs. Im not sure how u can get the IP address now. Try using iPhoneBrowser or iFunBox, theyll let you access the file systems of the iPhone, so can remove/delete iMemory.
#17
iPhoneBrowser and iFunBox don't work for me :(

I have just tried updating itunes and restoring and all I get is iPhone restore unknown error occurred (1611)

This is pee-ing me off now :(
#18
when you tried what i said, did you try it whils itunes was not running, it should work, i did it to mine before.
#19
I have managed to sort it thanks guys, it was done by restoring thru my sisters laptop instead of mine

Now to downgrade - scared!
#20
And now I can't downgrade!!! :@

I have my SSH blobs for 4.0.1 but can't do it! :'(
