Hi,

Looking for some advice regarding the above..

Im in the market for a new phone and really can not decide what to get.

Im liking the look of the 9800 Torch, but not sure if its the rights choice.

The reason why i'm comparing it to the Iphone 3gs, is due to that being my current phone..

What do you think, is it a good upgrade choice or will i regret moving away from the Iphone 3gs ??

Cheers

Rick

had the 3gs. apps are fun but get boring after a while. torch has benefits such as bbm and email and is nice to use.

I think it is all down to personal choice. Each phone has it's benefits and it's disadvantages.

One thing I will say is today I took my iPhone 4 in to a genius bar at apple and advised of a sticking home button. He said it is a hard repair so gave me a new one. Not sure you'd get that from Blackberry or HTC.

The other thing is if you are already an iPhone user then go for the iPhone upgrade as chances are you have already invested in the apps from iTunes.

HI,

Im liking the look of the New HTC, seems to be a good looking phone which does the same as all other phones theses days,

In regards to going for a Iphone 4, I dont see the point if you know what I mean, theres not enough difference for me for what i use it for.

In regards to apps, all the apps on the phone apart from a few cheapy's, for all free, so nothing will be lost.

Do you think the HTC would be a good choice ??

Cheers

HTC build quality is good, my sister has a Desire HD and it blows anything else I've seen out of the water.

you must be joking, the htc incredible s is in a league of its own. google the specification. and if you want bb messenger, download whatsapp, works cross platform on all the smart phones and is all free.

iphone 4 is by far the best phone out there now, HTC desire is ****

Still cant decide, but thinking the HTC is the way to go...

All of the smartphones have advantages and disadvantages. I like my Apple stuff but the HTC Desire I think it is is also impressive. Personally not a fan of Blackberry since they charge trough the nose for BES when you can do full email and calendar sync with an Active Sync device.

It all depends what you want to do with your phone. :)

3gs does everything i need, email, apps, internet, films, music, remotely synched to my laptop and can access data from my pc wherever i am. The phone never ceases to amaze me with something new and brilliant.

There are no doubt better phones out there but It works perfectly for what i want it for and i intend to keep it till it breaks or until something totally revolutionary hits.

Whatsapp is ok but doesnt really compare to bbm. For some business users there is definately an argument for blackberry.
